Ohhh so they are charging for press kits, i knew that was going to happen. As stated Sheena ,they threatened us with legal action & bullied one of our volunteers. last year. just be careful luff xox

I suggest that everyone be VERY careful with them.

Hi everyone! I don't know if this website and internet radio station has already been mentioned - Reputation Radio. They have 3 shows a week and some shows get 20 million listeners! They only play indie music, they're great people (like the fab people that are doing great things here!) and they'll promote you heavily if you get involved with the website. I highly recommend it! I've only been on the site for a few weeks but I've already had over 53,000 hits on my page! They can creat you an electronic press kit and you can link your domain name to it, should you wish, and that's just £2 a week. There's so much more I could tell you but I'll stop now! Why not set your self a (free) profile up and come join the fun in the chatroom! Big love, Sheena :) xx

IT TAKES TIME :::: We all are on everbodys Email list ? So do you respond or delete ? When 1,500 people have your address its easy to delete. The response is the totall interaction that has given me more than I Thought. It takes time and thats why time has value! I try my best to responed and I've allways liked the out come!

Wow I didn't realize that my point of three things to help promo your self was missunderstood .. What I learned was (have 3 things that are great about you or your music) to be your promotion angle. It sounds more interesting than check out my DEMO ! Make your promo things of (3) And say that Chad Robinson is Down with my sound !!! LOL

I WILL be adding more to this, and other groups in a week or two.

I am flat out getting UK and US IMGlobal up and running, and also have surgery on the 9th of December, so will be back then with more info .
Meanwhile feel free to add discussions UP There .
@Lisa Cross promotion can only work for the short term, someone ELSE always gets the end result, and the glory, i know of one particular mob/fella that reeps all the promo, careful!
Also joining more than one label is detrimental, i see NO point in that. It looks really unprofessional for the artist IMHO

For over a year Steven Does, I, and a number of other people started cross promoting at reverbnation. I managed to get up to # 3 pposition globally in the other category and getting quite a bit of exposure. The same thing happened to many others into cross promotion. Reverbnation has changed things around so cross promotion doesn't work as well over there now. We all ended up going off into different directions after their change. I find that blip.fm exposes musicians websites and their music to those interested into listening to music. I like your idea Chad on how to tweeting 3 things at twitter or wherever. YouTube , myspace, yahoo, Facebook, Reverbnation, twitter and probably others can all be connected together as well which then gives you more exposure.

Sounds great, Chad. I'm intrigued....& that takes a bit.

How about blogging your 'theory' here and we could all 'share' it to all the right places?

I don't have lots of Itunes sales I don't have tons of fans ! But I do have the power to find out why ! Like all of us our music is good and alot of you are better than whats on the radio . Thank god for that because main stream radio is lamo !!! So here is something I gave a shot and will keep doing ... I will promo 3 things at the same time . Some of you have already done this and its not my idea, but I found out that it works! I have tryed it in small amounts and it worked ! Instead of asking every one to check your song out ! Would'nt it be much more epic if it was 3 things at the same time!! Like my album release-Great review-#1 in your area!! That sounds so much better than check out my demo - !!!!
I wish I could find the blog for this cool Idea, becuase there was more to offer than just this one cool fact that totaly works !!! I even tried it on my wife !!! Lets just say things are good!!!
