About the festival!
Melodic Revolution Records, The Kirkland Art Center and The Clinton Chamber of Commerce present the the Annual Clinton, New York Art and Music Festival
The Festival is an annual event celebrating and showcasing a diverse blend of independent music, art, performance art, culture and community. The festival provides a forum for independent musicians artists, fans, and creative minds to keep the inspiration and imagination alive that both music and the arts provide. The telling of a story through a song or art has an impact and long lasting effects in our daily lives. We try to promote these effects in hopes that people will continue to use music and the arts to learn, entertain, inspire, and open new doors in their lives.

To get back to your thoughts on playing over here Matt, I'll trade with you! I'd love to play over in Europe and Asia! Anywhere but here,only for the basic reasons that,it's not the same here anymore,nobody cares really,thats the reason WHY we need these indy showcases!!!! The U.S. on a whole is extremely jaded,to put it mildly,very little loyalty, IF ANY, for that matter! I don't know who's to blame more,the general populace or the Major Record Companies. (see my blog for my thoughts on that.....;)...) or a disgusting combination of both!!! But anyways, I guess my point is that, there IS passion for music, but, it's just not HERE! Just like Canada and Hockey, as is "overseas" and music,most importantly, the progressive arts! Viva Le Indie!!!! :)

Thanks Eric, I agree most festivals are about big name acts that have a mega draw. I am really happy with the way this festival has done over the years and the many talented artist and independent musicians that have participated. Each year is just as special as the first.
